Job Title: CNC Turning Machine Operator

Position:CNC Turning Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities
Set up CNC turning machines as per production requirements.
Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, and machining specifications.
Select and install appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders, and work-holding fixtures.
Set tool offsets, work offsets, tool geometry, and wear offsets.
Load and verify CNC programs and make necessary program corrections.
Perform program prove-out, dry runs, single-block checks, and tool-path verification.
Operate CNC turning machines and monitor the machining process.
Make offset adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Follow work instructions, process sheets, inspection plans, and safety procedures.
Coordinate with the Production, Quality, Tool Room,



and Engineering teams to resolve machining issues.
Minimize rejection, rework, tool consumption, and machine downtime.

Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or related field.
Relevant CNC turning experience preferred.
Fresh ITI/Diploma candidates with basic CNC knowledge may also be considered.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in CNC turning machine setting and operation preferred
