Design Engineer - Machine Design

Candidates with 4 to 6 Years of experience in Product Development

Expertise in SolidWorks and EPDM

Good Knowledge in 3D Design

Knowledge of other CAD packages (added advantage)

Exposure to CAE tools (added advantage)

Location: Bangalore

Education: BE / BTech – Mechanical, Automobile, IP

Job Description:

· In-depth knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) for:
Injection moulding
Sheet metal
Stamping
Milling/turning

· Hands-on experience designing electromechanical products

· Creation of new sheet metal parts and weldments according to requirements.

· Create and update drawings as per customer standards and ISO quality requirements.

· Manufacturing drawing with the interpretation of GD&T; and tolerance stack up.

· Product redesign for production optimization / cost reduction

· Hands-on experience designing electromechanical products

. Valuable understanding of:
Cable assemblies
ECAD/MCAD integrations
Structural and thermal design considerations

. Exposure to DFX for high-volume production

.



Familiarity with prototype techniques for design development and verification

. Experience designing new components and products:
As a sole contributor
As part of a collaborative team

. Skilled in testing proof-of-concepts and prototypes for performance

. Good exposure to UL/IEC and related standards

. Experience with UL1741, UL9540 & UL9540A (added advantage)

. Experience in Commercial and Industrial (C&I;) Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) (added advantage)Positive Knowledge and hands on experience in EPDM

· Excellent communication skills and valuable team working skills

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
