Sr Manager/ Store Head – Job Description

Position: Store Head
Location: Nashik Head Office
Industry: Civil Construction & Infrastructure
Experience: 15+ Years
Education: B.E./B.Tech. / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Key Responsibilities
Manage overall stores and inventory operations at Head Office.
Plan and control material receipts, issues, transfers, and stock levels.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, material movement, and stock reconciliation.
Coordinate with Purchase, Projects, Accounts, and Site Teams for material requirements.
Monitor GRN, material inward/outward, stock registers, and documentation.
Ensure proper storage, preservation, identification, and handling of materials.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and avoid excess or shortage of materials.
Ensure compliance with company stores procedures, controls, and policies.




Lead and supervise the stores team and improve operational efficiency.
Prepare regular MIS and inventory reports for management.
Coordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding material availability and delivery.
Ensure effective utilization of ERP/software for inventory and stores management.
Job Requirements :
Candidate Profile
B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
15+ years of experience in Stores/Materials Management, preferably in Civil & Infrastructure/Construction projects.
Solid knowledge of construction materials, inventory control, and warehouse management.
Experience in ERP-based stores management is preferred.
Solid leadership, coordination, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Candidates with Head Office experience will be preferred.
Proven ability to analyze data to drive business decisions using tools like /ERP/SAP).
