JOB DESCRIPTION – QC CHEMIST

Department: Quality Control
Position: QC Chemist

Job Purpose

To conduct quality testing of Namkeen, Ice Cream, Frozen, Bakery, Milk & Milk Products and ensure all products meet company and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct Raw Material, In-Process and Finished Product Testing.
Perform chemical and physical tests as per product specifications.
Test parameters such as pH, Fat, Moisture, Acidity, Salt, SNF, Protein, TSS, FFA, Peroxide Value, etc. as applicable.
Check the quality of Milk, Milk Products, Ice Cream, Frozen Products, Bakery Products and Namkeen.
Monitor frying oil quality for Namkeen and applicable products.
Identify and report Out of Specification (OOS) results immediately.
Maintain all QC Test Reports, Batch Records and Laboratory Records.
Handle laboratory instruments, chemicals and reagents safely.




Ensure proper calibration and cleanliness of laboratory equipment.
Follow GMP, GLP, HACCP, SOP and Food Safety requirements.
Coordinate with Production, QA, Store and other departments regarding quality issues.

Qualification

B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry, Food Technology or related field.

Basic Computer/MS Excel Knowledge
Valuable Communication and Observation Skills

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
