Key Responsibilities
Understand software requirements, functional specifications, and product workflows.
Design, review, and execute manual test cases based on software requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and validation testing.
Test embedded software running on microcontroller- and Linux-based systems.
Verify communication between hardware and software (UART, USB, RS-232/RS-485, I C, SPI, Ethernet, etc.).
Validate instrument features such as sensors, motors, heaters, pumps, displays, keypads, alarms, and communication interfaces.
Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug-tracking tool.
Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing.
Prepare test reports, test documentation, and release-related documents.
Collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, and product teams to resolve issues.
Ensure software quality before product release.
