Job Description:
Solid understanding of layout preparation of process plants with clear identification on TOPs and Battery
Limits and Plant North vs True North directions etc.
Experience to read and understand the PFD and use of equipment graphical symbol/legend as per international
standard.
Must have thorough understanding of Bulk material handling conveyor along with RMHS with relevant IS
standards and their components and chute design.
Strong understanding of Day- Bin or proportion building with Bin/Bunker geometry considering the material
characteristics.
Positive understanding of structural building arrangement and hoisting and handling facilities with respect to
maintenance and operational requirements.
Experience of FGL, FFL, Head room clearance and in plant road network of a process plant considering minimum
road width and radius requirement for heavy vehicle/crane movement.
Understanding of various Mechanical Equipment (Static, rotating and pressure and non-pressure vessel) / Plant
arrangement Drawings is a must.
Understanding ISO drawing sheet with standard scales, sectional, and blow-up views in paper and model space
etc. with excellent knowledge of AutoCAD is absolute must.
Experience of general piping and duct arrangement / routing with support orientation and trestle arrangement
underneath the saddle support is desirable.
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical engineering having at least 10+ years of hands-on experience generating process
plant layout and sections in 2D platform.
Positive communication skills (verbal + written) and able to work in global environment.
Basic knowledge of equipment like Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP), Bag filter, Cyclone for waste gas cleaning
system is added advantage.
