Job Description - / PET Production In-Charge (ASB 50MB)Position Summary

The role requires ownership of machine operations, mould setting, production planning, quality assurance, manpower management, troubleshooting, maintenance coordination and continuous process improvement to ensure maximum productivity with minimum wastage.

Key Responsibilities1. Machine Operation
Operate and supervise ASB 50MB ISBM machines.
Ensure smooth machine running with maximum uptime.
Monitor machine parameters and optimise cycle times.
Minimise machine stoppages and breakdowns.
Mould Setting & Changeovers
Independently carry out mould changes.
Install and remove blow moulds, injection moulds, cores and related tooling.
Set machine parameters after every mould change.
Reduce mould changeover time while ensuring production stability.
Verify first-off samples before commencing production.
Production Planning & Execution
Execute daily production plans as per dispatch schedules.
Prioritise production based on customer requirements.
Ensure timely completion of production orders.




Coordinate with stores for availability of resin, masterbatch and packaging material.
Maintain optimum machine utilisation.
Quality Control
Ensure bottles meet all customer specifications.
Monitor:
Bottle weight
Capacity
Dimensions
Neck finish
Wall thickness
Visual appearance
Colour consistency
Leakage performance
Identify quality issues and take immediate corrective actions.
Reduce rejection and rework.
Process Optimisation
Optimise:
Resin consumption
Masterbatch usage
Cycle time
Heating profile
Stretching parameters
Blow pressure
Cooling
Improve productivity while maintaining quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Material Control
Ensure proper usage of PET resin and masterbatch.
Monitor material consumption against production.
Minimise wastage.
Maintain accurate production and material records.
