Sr. Structural Design Engineer – Design Team

Role Overview

We are looking for a Sr. Structural Design Engineer to lead the structural design and analysis of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) systems within our design team. You will own the end-to-end design of steel and RCC elements — from initial concept and code compliance through to fabrication drawings, BOMs, and erection-ready documentation — ensuring every structure is buildable, cost-efficient, and manufacturable with minimum on-site skill dependency.

Role in the Team
Report to the Lead Engineer – Design and collaborate closely with the BIM Lead, estimation, procurement, and site erection teams.
Serve as the primary structural authority on assigned PEB projects — owning design calculations, code compliance, and drawing approvals.
Guide and review the work of junior design engineers and detailers, maintaining quality and consistency across deliverables.
Represent structural engineering in project coordination meetings, design reviews,



and third-party/IITM validation submissions.
Collaborate with the BIM Lead to ensure structural models, shop drawings, and BOMs are accurate and fabrication-ready.
Champion DFMA principles within the team — designing for minimum-skill manufacturing and on-site erection at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Structural Design & Analysis
Design and analyse PEB steel structures, LGSF systems, and RCC elements in compliance with IS 800, IS 875, IS 456, and IS 1893.
Apply DFMA principles to optimise designs for effective factory fabrication, module assembly, and in office erection.
Prepare and review structural calculations, connection designs, anchor bolt layouts, and foundation interface details.
Coordinate with architects and MEP engineers to integrate structural solutions with overall building design.
