Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing products, managing supplier relationships, negotiating prices, ensuring timely deliveries, and supporting our sales team by procuring products as per client inquiries. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory efficiency, improving procurement cycles, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle procurement activities based on inquiries from the sales team.
Source new suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors
Request quotes, compare pricing, terms, and delivery timelines
Negotiate and finalize purchase agreements in alignment with company budgets and requirements
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply issues
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, delivery dates, and product performance
Collaborate with the sales team to understand technical specifications and client requirements
Monitor inventory levels and raise purchase orders as needed
Prepare regular reports on purchase activities, cost savings, and delivery performance
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
0-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management (preferably in industrial or automation sector)
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication
Knowledge of ERP systems or procurement software is a plus
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills
