Role Description The Site Safety Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The role involves monitoring and enforcing safety standards across fabrication, erection, construction,



and maintenance activities on project sites. Responsibilities include conducting regular safety inspections, identifying hazards, and recommending corrective actions to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies. The Site Safety Engineer will develop and implement safety plans, maintain safety documentation, and coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and workers to promote a strong safety culture. The role also includes delivering safety training, investigating incidents and near-misses, and supporting continuous improvement in occupational health, safety, and security practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Safety Engineering and Construction Safety, with the ability to apply safety standards to tanks, pipelines, structural works, and related civil activities.
