What is the role:
This position is embedded within Hollywell, a respected CPA & Accounting Services firm under the Numera umbrella. We are seeking an Associate / Sr Associate – Mergers & Acquisitions to join our dynamic team. This role offers the prospect to lead and contribute to identify acquisition opportunities, conduct financial due diligence, and support transaction execution.





The position is remote-based and is ideal for professionals with 2–5 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, transaction advisory, or financial due diligence.

What you would do:
Support buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements by analysing historical financial information, identifying key business trends, and evaluating earnings quality, net working capital, and net debt.
Review financial statements, trial balances, general ledgers, and supporting schedules to identify accounting anomalies, transaction-related risks, and items requiring further investigation.
Prepare due diligence workpapers, schedules, and client-ready reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to engagement timelines and quality standards.
Collaborate with onshore engagement teams to address diligence requests, perform follow-up analyses, and support discussions with management based on identified findings.
