Role Description The Area Sales Manager – Cosmetics General Trade is a full time, on-site role based in Hubli.



This role is responsible for managing and growing general trade sales for the company’s cosmetic and hair care product portfolio in the assigned territory. Day-to-day activities include planning and executing sales strategies, managing distributor and retailer relationships, and ensuring product visibility and availability across outlets. The role involves monitoring sales performance, conducting market visits, implementing promotional activities, and collecting market intelligence on competitors and consumer trends. The Area Sales Manager will also prepare sales reports, coordinate with internal teams for supply and marketing support, and lead field teams to achieve volume, value, and distribution targets.
Qualifications
Proven experience in FMCG or cosmetics general trade sales, preferably as an Area Sales Manager or similar field sales role.
Strong skills in territory management, distributor handling, and retailer relationship-building.
