Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Executive with prior experience in the logistics industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions while complying with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Process and verify vendor invoices accurately and ensure timely payments.
Match purchase orders, invoices, and supporting documents before payment processing.
Prepare vendor payments through NEFT, RTGS, and other banking channels.
Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve payment discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
Record and monitor transportation, freight, warehousing, fuel, and other logistics-related expenses.
Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for invoice approvals and payment clarifications.
Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.




Prepare Accounts Payable MIS reports, ageing reports, and payment status reports.
Assist during internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.

Required Skills
B.Com or equivalent qualification in Commerce.
M.Com or MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable.
Experience in the Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing, or Supply Chain industry is preferred.
Qualifications

Experience
2–5 years of Accounts Payable experience.
Experience in the logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehousing industry is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Hands-on experience in processing high volumes of logistics-related invoices.
Familiarity with freight billing, transporter payments, and vendor reconciliations.
Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
