About the Role
We're looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with robust hands-on expertise in Playwright and a passion for leveraging AI to build smarter, faster, and more resilient test automation frameworks. You'll play a key role in designing scalable automation solutions and driving quality across our product suite.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python)
Integrate AI/ML-based tools or techniques to improve test coverage, self-healing tests, or intelligent test case generation
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies for web applications
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI)
Perform API testing and integrate it into the automation suite
Conduct root cause analysis of test failures and drive continuous improvement in test reliability
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices across teams
Stay updated with emerging AI-powered testing tools (e.g., self-healing locators, visual AI testing, LLM-based test generation)
Required Skills
8+ years of experience in Software QA/Test Automation
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python)
Solid programming skills in JavaScript or Python
Experience integrating AI-based tools/approaches into testing workflows
Good understanding of API testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
