Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring experienced Snowflake Data Engineers for our Chennai location.

? Required Skills
Candidates should have hands-on experience in at least 3 of the following core skills:
✅ Snowflake Data Warehouse
✅ Azure Data Factory (ADF)
✅ Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)
✅ SQL
✅ ETL / ELT Development

? Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and Azure technologies.
Build and optimize data ingestion frameworks from ADLS Gen2 to Snowflake.
Implement data loading solutions using Snowpipe, COPY INTO, Storage Integrations, and External/Internal Stages.
Develop incremental data processing solutions using Streams, Tasks, and MERGE operations.
Create and maintain scalable data models, views, stored procedures, and SQL scripts.
Optimize Snowflake warehouse performance, query execution, and storage utilization.




Collaborate with business stakeholders, BI teams, and data architects to deliver analytics solutions.
Implement security and governance practices including RBAC, Time Travel, and Zero-Copy Cloning.
Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Follow best practices for DevOps, CI/CD, data quality, and documentation.
? Technical Requirements
Strong expertise in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2).
Robust proficiency in SQL and Data Warehousing Concepts.
Experience in ETL/ELT Development and cloud-based data migration.
Working knowledge of Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, MERGE Operations.
Experience with Azure Cloud Services.
Strong understanding of Performance Tuning & Optimization.
Familiarity with Git / Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
