Role Description The Film Script Writer Assistant will support the writing team with drafting, revising, and formatting scripts for film projects. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with story development, organizing scene breakdowns, maintaining script versions, and preparing documents for production meetings. The role also involves conducting basic research to support plot and character development, taking notes during creative sessions, and coordinating with production staff to ensure script-related materials are up to date.



This is a contract, on-site role based in the Pune Division, requiring regular in-person collaboration with writers, directors, and production personnel.
Qualifications
Strong script writing and editing abilities, including familiarity with standard screenplay formats.
Story development skills, such as outlining, character building, and scene structuring.
Attention to detail in proofreading, version control, and organizing script-related documents.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with writers, directors, and production teams.
Basic research skills to support realistic plots, settings, and character backgrounds.
Proficiency with word processing and scriptwriting software (e.g., Final Draft, Celtx, or similar tools).
