About the Team:
The Cloud Platform team builds and operates StarTree Cloud — the resilient, auto-scaling platform that makes Apache Pinot available as a fully managed service. We use a single control plane to run and manage hundreds of fully automated Pinot clusters in production, spanning SaaS, BYOC and BYOK deployments across AWS, GCP and Azure.
The Cloud platform team is lean, fast-paced, and creative, working with state-of-the-art technology while focusing on solving complex challenges at scale.
In this role, you will:
Own the end-to-end development of features in the cloud control plane and data plane platform services, starting from idea to production launch
Manage substantial Kubernetes workloads that span across all major cloud providers
Collaborate with strong engineering and partner teams to deliver effective and scalable solutions for customers
