Role Description The Senior Design Engineer – Machine and Automation is a full time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing automated machinery and systems, from concept through detailed engineering and commissioning. Day-to-day activities include creating and reviewing mechanical and automation designs, preparing engineering drawings and specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams,



and overseeing prototyping and testing. The Senior Design Engineer will troubleshoot technical issues, refine designs based on performance data, and ensure that solutions meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This position also involves mentoring junior engineers, coordinating with vendors and manufacturing partners, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering function.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical design skills for machinery and automation systems, including experience with 3D CAD tools and engineering documentation.
Solid understanding of automation technologies, such as motion control, sensors, actuators, and integration with control systems.
Experience with product development lifecycles, from concept and prototyping to testing, validation, and deployment.
