Communications Officer – South Asia

About the role
AVI Pacific People, on behalf of the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), is seeking an experienced Communications Officer to lead and implement ACIAR's internal and external communications and advocacy activities across the South Asia region.

Working closely with the ACIAR South Asia Office and the Outreach team in Canberra, the Communications Officer will develop high-quality communication products, promote ACIAR's research-for-development outcomes, and build strong relationships with regional stakeholders, including local media and the Australian High Commission network.

A key objective of this role is to enhance awareness and understanding of ACIAR's mission, programs, and impact across India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. This includes producing compelling stories, digital content, multimedia products,



and coordinating a diverse communications program aligned with ACIAR's strategic priorities.

This is a full-time contractor position located at the Australian High Commission in New Delhi.
