Manufacture recent moulds as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Assemble, fit, and test mould components to ensure proper functionality.
Repair, modify, and maintain existing moulds to minimize production downtime.
Operate conventional tool room machines such as milling, lathe, surface grinder, drilling, and EDM machines.
Perform precision fitting, polishing, grinding, and bench work.
Measure and inspect components using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators.
Troubleshoot mould-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
Work closely with design, production, and quality teams during mould trials and validation.
Maintain proper documentation of mould maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
Follow safety procedures, housekeeping standards (5S), and company policies.
Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in positive working condition.
Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Machinist, Fitter, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
Certification in Tool Making is an added advantage.
