About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Category Manager to lead procurement across Perishable, Non-Perishable, and Packaging categories. The ideal candidate should have a strong sourcing background, an established vendor network, and the ability to drive commercial value through strategic procurement and category growth.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement for Perishable, Non-Perishable, and Packaging categories.
Develop and maintain a strong vendor and supplier network.
Lead sourcing, vendor negotiations, and commercial discussions to achieve the best pricing and service levels.
Drive category profitability through margin improvement and cost optimization.
Conduct market benchmarking and identify new sourcing prospects.
Build and execute category strategies to support business growth.
Monitor category performance, pricing trends,



and procurement KPIs using data and analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted supply.
Lead and mentor the category team while driving high performance.

What We're Looking For
Minimum 7 years of experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement.
Expertise in Perishable, Non-Perishable, and Packaging categories.
Robust vendor network with proven sourcing capabilities.
Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Robust understanding of procurement benchmarking, pricing trends, and market intelligence.
Demonstrated experience in improving margins and growing multiple product categories.
Experience in leading and managing teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven business decisions.
Proficient in Excel and procurement reporting.
