Plant Upkeep Ops Electrical Technician Job Description Who you are/: To reduce machine downtime, quickly respond to shop floor breakdown calls by identifying and fixing electrical problems in control panels, AC/DC motors, relays, contactors, switches, sensors, and production line wiring. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance /(PM/) checklists, which include thermography support for all electrical assets, tightness checks, contactor cleaning, motor insulation checks, and panel filter cleaning. Using circuit schematics and electrical drawings as a guide, carry out panel wiring, cable routing, termination, crimping, and replacement of malfunctioning electrical components.
