About the Role
The Program Manager is ultimately responsible and accountable for the execution of all programs assigned to him / her, and adherence to Tenneco program management processes. This role ensures flawless launch performance and meets all program targets including but not limited to:
0-0-100-100-30 (0 recordable injuries; 0 customer quality rejections; 100% on time delivery to the customer; 100% of the CAR financial targets; measured during the first 30 calendar days after the customer’s Start of Production).
End-to-End Program ManagementLead automotive programs from Gate 1 through Gate 7, ensuring effective planning, execution, issue resolution, and successful program launches.
Cross-Functional LeadershipCoordinate and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Launch Managers, plants, and suppliers to drive program success.
Scope, Risk & Change ManagementManage customer scope changes, perform trade-off analysis (cost, timing, quality, and resources), identify risks early, and execute mitigation and escalation plans.
Project Delivery & Resource PlanningDevelop and manage project timelines, ensure all gates and customer milestones (MRDs) are achieved on time, and optimize resource utilization.
