Responsibilities
Design and develop bus interior components including flooring, side trims, ceiling panels, partitions, seats, luggage areas and driver cabin components.
Develop 3D models, assemblies and detailed engineering drawings.
Perform interior packaging, ergonomics, accessibility and clearance studies.
Ensure proper interfaces with body structure, electrical, HVAC and other vehicle systems.
Consider passenger comfort, safety, serviceability and manufacturability.
Support prototype builds, testing, validation and design modifications.
Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of bus / automotive interior design and development.
Experience with plastics, composites, sheet metal, trim and interior components.
Understanding of ergonomics,



passenger packaging and mounting concepts.
Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up and manufacturing processes.
Understanding of serviceability and component installation/removal.
Positive cross-functional coordination skills.
