JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mandatory Technical Skills
Strong hands-on administration of CA-UIM / DX UIM in a large enterprise setting, including multi-hub architecture, robots, probes, queues, tunnels, packages, Operator Console, NAS/alarm processing, discovery_server and data_engine.
Practical experience implementing and supporting server, application, database,



network, storage, virtualization, service, process, log, URL, SNMP and hardware monitoring.
Expertise in probe deployment and configuration, monitoring templates, super packages, QoS, thresholding, alarm policies, pre-processing, suppression, correlation and maintenance schedules.
Experience with CA Spectrum and DX NetOps components such as Performance Management, NFA, NCM, CABI/Jaspersoft, integrations and data-source management.
Hands-on experience with upgrades, patching, platform migrations, performance tuning, capacity planning, high availability, backup/restore coordination and DR validation.
Strong troubleshooting across Windows and Linux platforms, networking, SNMP, ports, services, certificates, logs, SQL databases, queues, APIs and distributed application dependencies.
Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server used by CA-UIM, including basic SQL querying, database health, data-retenti
