Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an AV CAD Drafter. The AV CAD Drafter will create and update detailed AV system drawings, including signal flow diagrams, floor plans, equipment layouts, rack elevations, and wiring schematics based on project requirements and industry standards. Responsibilities include translating engineering concepts into accurate CAD documentation, maintaining drawing consistency across projects,



and revising designs in response to feedback from project managers, engineers, and clients. The role involves coordinating drawing sets, tracking revisions, and ensuring all documentation complies with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications. The AV CAD Drafter will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders via online tools, manage deadlines across multiple projects, and support continuous improvement of CAD templates and drafting workflows.
Qualifications
Proficiency in CAD drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and ability to produce clear, accurate technical drawings for AV systems.
Hands-on experience with AV system layouts, signal flow diagrams, rack design, and cable management, with strong attention to detail and documentation quality.
Solid understanding of audiovisual technologies (e.g., displays, projectors, audio systems, control systems, networking basics) and industry standards.
