Description

Our unit ensures reliable and secure development and implementation of services at the interface between IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operation Technology). In our capability of Industrial Connectivity, we are the primary point of contact for all OT Network and Firewall related inquiries, providing services, expertise, and solutions to BASF production sites and plants. In the role of Platform Service Engineer, you are part of our global product team, responsible for operating and maintaining the OT firewall and network infrastructure,



and collaborate with other BASF IT/OT technical experts and vendors to provide end-to-end solution and an exceptional service to BASF production sites and plants.

Main Tasks :

Work closely with OT firewall and network operations teams and take responsibility for fast change implementation related to our firewalls and incident handling on firewall and network platforms, e.g., Palo Alto, Checkpoint, etc., , leveraging deep technical expertise to resolve complex issues
Rollout and life cycle management of network components in production environment, e.g., firewalls and other core components
Streamlining firewall configurations related to compliance regulative
Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and internal business partners to understand requirements and develop solutions and best practices related to OT firewall and network infrastructure and IT/OT integration
Collaborate with other IT/OT
