Role Description

The Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of vehicles and their mechanical systems.
The selected candidate will perform routine and preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical faults, repair or replace defective components, and ensure that vehicles are maintained in secure and reliable operating condition.
Key Responsibilities




Perform routine inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance of vehicles.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and vehicle performance issues.
Repair and replace defective mechanical components and parts.
Perform maintenance of engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and related vehicle systems.
Conduct testing after repairs to ensure proper vehicle operation.
Identify potential mechanical problems before they result in major breakdowns.
Use appropriate workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance procedures.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and replaced parts.
Follow company safety procedures and workshop quality standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in proper condition.
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other workshop team members as required.
