About the Role

FinacPlus is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – US GAAP Accounting & Finance to join our accounting team supporting a leading U.S.-based financial services organization.
This is a hands-on accounting leadership role for a skilled with approximately 4–5 years of experience in accounting, banking, lending, mortgage finance, financial services, or a related U.S.-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of US GAAP, General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and financial controls, together with experience working with ERP/accounting platforms such as Oracle NetSuite or similar systems.
You will also have responsibility for leading a team, reviewing work, resolving complex accounting issues, managing deliverables, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and control.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked with U.S. companies, U.S.



banking/financial services organizations, lenders, mortgage companies, fintechs, or accounting service providers supporting U.S. clients.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & General Ledger
Manage and review day-to-day US GAAP accounting activities, including journal entries, account analysis, transaction posting, and General Ledger maintenance.
Review accounting transactions for accuracy, completeness, proper classification, and compliance with established accounting policies and controls.
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, adjustments, and other period-end accounting activities.
Perform detailed balance sheet and General Ledger reconciliations, investigate variances, and drive discrepancies to resolution.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities and ensure completion within defined timelines.
Analyze financial information and identify unusual transaction
