Role Description The Furniture Designer will design and develop soft furniture pieces that align with Studio Saddles’ aesthetic, comfort standards, and material capabilities. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves collaborating with interior and product teams to create concepts, sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes.



Day-to-day responsibilities include researching trends and materials, translating client requirements into functional designs, and refining products based on feedback from production and quality teams. The Furniture Designer will work closely with carpenters and upholsterers to ensure technical feasibility, productive manufacturing, and consistency with brand guidelines. The role also includes preparing design documentation, maintaining a library of materials and finishes, and supporting showroom or client presentations when needed.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Furniture Design and Furniture development, with the ability to balance aesthetics, ergonomics, and durability.
Hands-on understanding of Carpentry and construction methods to ensure designs are feasible and manufacturable.
Experience in Interior Design, focusing on integrating furniture into cohesive residential or commercial spaces.
