Business Development – HR ConsultingAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Business Development professional to join our growing HR consulting business and take ownership of building our business development function.
This is a startup environment , and we are looking for someone who is comfortable operating without an established playbook. You will be expected to build, experiment, generate opportunities, and drive business from the ground up .
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys the ownership and autonomy of a startup and is excited by the opportunity to build something rather than simply operate an existing sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute the business development strategy for our HR consulting services.
- Identify target markets, industries, companies, and decision-makers for our services.
- Build and continuously develop a solid sales pipeline from scratch.
- Drive outbound business development through cold calling, LinkedIn, email, networking, referrals, and other channels .
- Reach out to Founders, CEOs, CXOs,



and senior HR leaders to understand their business and people challenges.
- Conduct discovery conversations and identify opportunities where our HR consulting services can add value.
- Develop and refine the sales pitch, outreach messaging, lead-generation approach, and BD process .
- Create a systematic approach to prospecting, lead qualification, follow-ups, proposals, and closures.
- Own the sales cycle end-to-end, from identifying prospects to closing engagements.
- Build strong relationships with prospects and convert them into long-term clients.
- Work closely with the consulting team to understand our offerings and effectively position them to prospective clients.
- Track sales activity, pipeline, conversions, and revenue and gradually build a scalable BD process.
- Experiment with different channels and approaches to determine what works best for the business.
- Identify new service opportunities based on market feedback
