Role Overview
The Senior Social Media Manager is responsible for leading the social media strategy and execution for assigned brands, ensuring that all content is strategically aligned with the brand’s objectives, creatively strong, and delivered on time. The role involves managing client relationships, guiding the SMM team, overseeing content calendars and campaigns, and using performance insights to continuously improve the brand’s social media presence.

Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with each brand’s objectives, audience, and positioning.
Identify content pillars, formats, trends, and opportunities relevant to each brand.
Translate brand objectives into actionable monthly content plans and campaigns.
Continuously evaluate and improve the social media strategy based on performance and changing trends.
2. Content Planning & Execution
Own the monthly content calendar and ensure timely planning, execution, and publishing.
Lead brainstorming and ideation for Reels, carousels, static posts, Stories, campaigns, and other social formats.
Ensure content is platform-appropriate, relevant, engaging, and aligned with the brand voice.
Review and approve content decks, captions, references, and creative concepts before they move to production/client approval.
Ensure content is delivered within agreed timelines and follows the required quality standards.
3. Client Management
Act as a key point of contact for assigned clients and maintain robust working relationships.
Lead client calls and presentations when required.
Understand client expectations, business objectives, and feedback and translate them into actionable tasks for the team.
Proactively communicate delays, challenges, opportunities, and recommendations.
Manage client feedback effectively and ensure revisions are addressed within timelines.
