Technical Solution Architect – Thing Worx 10.x & SCPA

Key Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end solution architecture for SmartConnect using Thing Worx 10.x & SCPA.
Design Thing Models, Thing Templates/Shapes, Data Shapes, services, events, subscriptions, and persistence.
Define application, data, API, integration, security, deployment, and operational architecture.
Design remote-access solutions, file ingestion, remote package execution, audit, retry, and failure handling.
Implement RBAC, visibility groups, least-privilege access, JIT privileged access, and enterprise identity/authorization.
Design Salesforce (Unity) integration for endpoint master data, reconciliation, and synchronization.
Define NFRs covering performance, scalability, availability, resiliency, security, privacy, and observability.
Lead architecture reviews, threat modeling, technical risk management, and design governance.
Guide developers/consultants and review technical designs and code.




Lead migration/coexistence from the existing SmartConnect solution while reducing technical debt.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Cybersecurity, QA, Infrastructure, Operations, and client leadership.
Act as a trusted technical advisor and present architecture recommendations, trade-offs, and risks.
