? About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Calibration Engineer – Powertrain Diesel to join our automotive engineering team. The role involves calibration, optimization, validation, and performance tuning of diesel engine and powertrain systems to meet vehicle performance, fuel economy, emissions, and drivability targets.
✅ Key Responsibilities
• Develop and validate diesel engine calibration strategies for performance, fuel efficiency, emissions, and drivability.
• Calibrate fuel injection, air path, combustion, torque structure, and aftertreatment functions.
• Perform engine test bench and vehicle-level calibration activities.
• Analyze calibration data and optimize engine control parameters.
• Support troubleshooting, defect analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Conduct validation testing to ensure compliance with emission regulations and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with software, controls,
validation, and vehicle integration teams.
• Prepare technical reports, calibration documentation, and release recommendations.
