Key Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and various costing methodologies.
Manage inventory valuation through ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 (Axapta).
Analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), gross margins, and net profitability.
Review and validate job card closures, production transactions, inventory movements, stock transfers, and material consumption at the transaction level.
Verify the accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOMs)



and ensure ERP data is maintained as per approved BOMs.
Calculate and monitor overhead absorption through the ERP system.
Prepare product costing and pricing to support the CRM and Sales teams.
Prepare production and sales budgets related to costing.
Monitor demand and consumption of high-value consumables such as Gold Plating Chemicals (GPC), Rhodium, and other critical materials across manufacturing units.
Conduct profitability analysis by Sales Order, Customer, Product, and Business Unit.
Analyze production efficiency and precious metal losses (Gross & Net) department-wise and metal-wise.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
Study and analyze consumables consumption patterns to optimize utilization.
Conduct cost investigations and variance analysis whenever required.
