Position: Team Lead – Japanese Linguistic Team

Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Japanese language trainers.
Monitor and maintain the quality of Japanese language training and learning delivery.
Conduct regular trainer evaluations, feedback sessions, and performance reviews.
Support trainers with teaching methodologies, lesson planning, and classroom management.
Ensure consistency in curriculum, training standards, and academic processes.
Identify training gaps and provide appropriate coaching and mentoring to trainers.
Coordinate with the Operations and Academic teams for smooth batch allocation and delivery.
Handle trainer-related concerns and ensure timely resolution of academic or operational issues.
Conduct demo sessions, trainer assessments, and quality checks when required.
Develop and implement best practices to improve trainer performance and student learning outcomes.
Stay updated with Japanese language teaching methodologies and industry standards.
Take ownership of overall linguistic quality and trainer performance within the Japanese team.
Required Qualifications & Experience
8+ years of experience in the Japanese language domain.
Strong Japanese language teaching experience is mandatory.
Prior experience in team leadership, trainer management, or academic coordination.
Strong command of the Japanese language.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Strong mentoring and people-management abilities.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
JLPT N1 certification preferred.
Experience managing or mentoring Japanese language trainers.
Experience in EdTech, language institutes, or online learning platforms will be an added advantage.
