Job Summary

The Production Planner is responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring production schedules to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of products balancing demand, inventory levels, and production efficiency. The role acts as a bridge between Sales, Procurement, Stores, and Production departments to ensure smooth production flow.

Responsibilities

Create daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and inventory levels.
Develop and maintain production schedules to meet delivery commitments.
Balance production capacity and material availability.
Monitor schedule adherence and take corrective actions to address delays.
