Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain scalable, distributed, and event-driven applications using Kafka and messaging infrastructure.
Work with AWS services, particularly AWS Glue and AWS Lambda.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications using Kubernetes.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Use GitHub Copilot for specification-driven development.
Work with databases including SQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
Monitor and troubleshoot applications in production environments.
Investigate and resolve production incidents within an enterprise setting.
Analyze Splunk logs to identify application issues and determine root causes.
Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring production issues.
Participate in regression testing and automated testing activities.
Develop and maintain unit and behavior-driven tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.
Follow TDD practices wherever applicable.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, Product, and other engineering teams.
Work within Agile methodologies and contribute to CI/CD practices.
Ensure application resiliency, security, scalability, and performance.
Mandatory Skills
6+ years of hands-on experience with Java and related technologies
Spring & Spring Boot
AWS – hands-on experience with AWS Glue and Lambda
Kubernetes
Terraform
Apache Kafka & messaging infrastructure
SQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB
Production incident management and troubleshooting
Splunk & Splunk log analysis
