Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Merchandiser to own orders end-to-end — from product development and costing through production and shipment. You’ll be the critical link between clients, design teams, vendors, and the production floor, ensuring orders are commercially viable, produced to quality standards, and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Development & Sourcing
Coordinate with design teams and review tech packs to ensure production feasibility.
Source fabrics, trims, labels, packaging, and other materials.
Develop samples and coordinate fittings and approvals.
Suggest construction improvements and value-engineering opportunities.
2. Costing & Commercials




Prepare detailed garment costings, including consumption, labour, overheads, and other relevant costs.
Analyze costs and lead price negotiations with clients and vendors.
Ensure target margins are achieved across orders.
Prepare quotations, purchase orders, and costing sheets.
3. Vendor Management
Develop and manage fabric and trim suppliers across domestic and international markets.
Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
Evaluate vendor performance on cost, quality, reliability, and delivery.
Build and maintain robust supplier relationships.
4. Production Coordination
Create and manage T&A; (Time & Action) calendars.
Track orders from sampling through production and shipment.
Coordinate with cutting, stitching, embroidery, washing, finishing, and QC teams.
Monitor daily production status and identify potential delays.
Proactively resolve production bottleneck
