Job Title: Team Leader - Credit Operation (US Mortgage/Loan operation)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Team Leader – Credit Operations to manage and oversee loan origination, processing, and documentation activities. This role involves leading a team, ensuring compliance with credit guidelines, and driving operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards across all loan files.

Key Responsibilities
1. Credit Review & Documentation
Review loan applications and supporting documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with credit and program guidelines
Collect, validate, and organize borrower documentation such as financial statements, tax returns, ownership records, and insurance papers
Identify and reconcile inconsistencies across documents (e.g., ownership details, revenue figures, entity names, and addresses), escalating discrepancies when required




Prepare loan files for underwriting submission and closing using standardized checklists and quality control measures
2. Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of loan processing and origination specialists
Set explicit performance expectations and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality output
Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment
3. Loan Origination & Processing
Oversee the end-to-end loan origination and processing lifecycle
Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and credit guidelines
Monitor loan pipelines, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to maintain turnaround times
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
Coordinate with Sales, Underwriting, and Closing teams to address documentation gaps and ensure smooth file progression
Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders on credit operations matters
