Job Overview

UX Design Lead: Lead complex UX initiatives across TE’s digital ecosystem, driving design strategy, design systems, and user-centered solutions. Partner with cross-functional teams, mentor designers, and guide projects from discovery to implementation while ensuring accessibility, governance, and scalable digital experiences.

Roles & Responsibility

Lead end-to-end UX strategy and design for high-impact web, data product, and enterprise platform experiences.
Coordinate UX workstreams for complex, cross-functional initiatives, establishing transparent project plans, timelines, expectations, and accountability across participating teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, developers, DCS, AEM implementation teams, Marketing, and business unit partners to translate complex business requirements into intuitive, scalable user experiences.

lead project deliverables, manage time, provide project communications, and create visibility into status, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
Partner with UX Manager to define playbooks, documentation structures, governance processes, and hand-off protocols that enable consistent UX delivery across teams, acting as a major owner of the DesignOps definition and implementation.
Own and evolve the TE.com design system, including component documentation, modular functionality, responsive behavior, design variants, and digital-first brand adaptations.
Develop and maintain UX best practices documentation to support design team workflows, content author guidance, and alignment across product, development, BU, and leadership stakeholders.
Create functional design requirements, annotated mocks, design acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready hand-off documentation for development teams.
