About The Role
The Cogent is seeking a talented and imaginative Video Editor to join our creative team in Jaipur. This is a full-time, in office role ideal for someone passionate about visual storytelling and up-to-date with the latest trends in short-form video content.
You’ll be editing content for platforms like e-commerce Product Shoot, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and podcasts, so experience in dynamic, social-first video editing is a must. Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Cap Cut is essential.

Key Responsibilities
Edit engaging short-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms
Produce high-quality podcast videos with clean cuts, synced audio, and visual polish
Incorporate transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, and special effects creatively
Handle audio editing—balancing music, dialogue, and ambient effects




Stay updated and implement current editing trends and viral video formats
Collaborate closely with the creative team for content planning and execution

Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut
Solid understanding of sound design and audio-video syncing
Demonstrated ability to edit both video and audio podcast formats
Keen awareness of social media editing trends, especially for reels and shorts
Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
Attention to detail and ability to deliver on tight deadlines
