Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails (ROR) Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building web applications using Ruby on Rails and modern frontend technologies. The candidate should have hands-on experience in API development, frontend development, scalable database design, and working with relational databases.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and API architectures using Ruby on Rails.
Build and consume RESTful APIs for complex workflows, integrations, and performance-critical systems.
Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using React.js, Stimulus JS, or similar frontend frameworks.
Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database migrations for relational databases.
Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, ensuring robust test coverage using RSpec and Capybara.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, participate in sprint releases/scrum calls, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills




5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
2+ years of experience or strong proficiency with frontend frameworks like React.js, Stimulus JS, and Javascript (ES6+).
Strong knowledge of up-to-date styling frameworks such as Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap CSS.
Experience working with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL.
Good understanding of REST APIs, database design, Active Record (ORM), and MVC patterns.
Strong testing practices with experience writing unit and integration tests using RSpec.
Familiarity with Git, modern development practices, and leading team workflows (e.g., code reviews, agile/scrum).

Good to Have
Hands-on experience in Shopify App Development (including Shopify Polaris, Shopify Liquid, and React Remix).
Experience with third-party billing/CRM integrations (e.g., Stripe, HubSpot, Clover, Quickbooks).
Familiarity with AI-driven development workflows, and container/
