Role Description The Pediatric Intensivist will provide specialized, evidence-based care to critically ill infants and children in the intensive care units at the Hoskote and Bhattarahalli centers in Bengaluru East. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves managing pediatric emergencies, overseeing ventilatory and hemodynamic support,



and coordinating multidisciplinary care plans. Daily responsibilities include performing clinical assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, leading resuscitation and stabilization efforts, supervising junior medical staff and nurses, and engaging in family counseling and education. The Pediatric Intensivist will collaborate with pediatricians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure high-quality, secure, and continuous care. Participation in clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development is expected.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in Medicine and Critical Care Medicine relevant to pediatric intensive care.
Candidates should possess skills in Pulmonology and respiratory management for critically ill children.
