About us
SCM Connexions builds manufacturing supply chains in Asia and best cost country for industrial companies, then hands them over.
Our clients are Indian, European and American manufacturers who want a product made in India or China but have no supply base there and no way to judge which factories are real. We run the feasibility work, break their bill of materials down line by line, qualify a supplier against every line, and close on a first article produced to their drawing. Then the suppliers, contracts and cost data transfer to them directly.
What makes this different from sourcing is the engineering. We re-engineer parts for the local supply base, model what a part should cost before anyone quotes, and qualify vendors against the processes they actually run. We have done this for Weatherford, Voith, WEG, EOS, TMEIC and Kirloskar among others.

The role
You will open recent client relationships with industrial manufacturers for SCM Connexions.
This is a long-cycle,



technical sale. Your buyer is a procurement director or operations head who is considering moving production to Asia and is nervous about it. They will ask hard questions about qualification, traceability and cost structure. Deals take months and often start with a feasibility study rather than a full engagement.
You will not be selling a product. You will be selling a method, to people who have usually been burned by a sourcing agent before.

What you will do
• Build and own a pipeline of industrial manufacturers in Europe, the US and India
• Run first conversations that qualify properly, understanding the client’s product, volumes and constraints before proposing anything
• Work with our engineering and sourcing teams to shape feasibility proposals
• Lead commercial negotiation through to contract
• Represent us at industry events and trade shows
• Report pipeline and forecast accuratel
