Role Description The General Partner will play a key leadership role in sourcing, evaluating, and advising early-stage startups while representing Orquilis Venture within the regional startup ecosystem. This part-time, in office role in South Dum-Dum involves meeting founders, reviewing business models, guiding investment readiness, and shaping fundraising strategies. The General Partner will conduct due diligence, assess market and financial viability,



and support pitch development for presentations to angel investors, venture capital firms, and family offices. The role includes maintaining and expanding investor relationships, participating in investment committee discussions, and contributing to portfolio strategy and performance monitoring. The General Partner will also help organize and attend startup events, networking sessions, and internal strategy meetings to strengthen the firm’s presence and impact.
Qualifications
Experience in venture capital, private equity, startup advisory, or investment banking, with a strong understanding of early-stage fundraising and term sheet structures.
Proficiency in financial analysis, valuation methods, and due diligence, including reviewing business plans, financial models, and market research.
Strong strategic thinking and business evaluation skills, with the ability to assess product–market fit, scalab
