Performance Marketing Executive
About the Role
Merlin Marketing is looking for a Performance Marketing Executive to join our growing digital team.
You will work across multiple client accounts and be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and improving paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

This role is ideal for someone who understands that performance marketing goes beyond simply launching campaigns. You should be comfortable analysing data, identifying what is or is not working, testing current ideas, managing budgets, improving lead quality, and continuously finding opportunities to improve campaign performance.

As part of a fast-moving digital agency, you will work closely with our strategy, content, design, SEO, and account management teams across clients from different industries.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant performance channels based on client objectives.
Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, including campaign setup,



optimisation, budgets, targeting, bidding, audiences, keywords, and ongoing performance.
Conduct keyword, audience, competitor, and campaign research before launching or scaling campaigns.
Monitor campaign performance regularly and optimise towards relevant business outcomes such as:
Qualified leads
Cost per lead
Cost per acquisition
Conversion rate
ROAS
CTR
CPC
Lead quality

Analyse campaign data to identify performance issues, growth opportunities, wasted spend, and areas for experimentation.
Create and test ad copy, creative concepts, audiences, landing-page messaging, offers, and campaign structures to improve results.
Work closely with the design and content teams to develop performance-focused ad creatives and messaging.
Set up and verify conversion tracking and campaign measurement using tools such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and platform-speci
