About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Product Design Engineer to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in mechanical product design and development, with the ability to take products from concept and engineering development through prototyping, validation, and manufacturing.

You will work closely with Industrial Designers, Engineers, Prototyping, Manufacturing, and Vendors to develop innovative, functional, and manufacturable products across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Development
Conceptualize, design, and develop recent products from ideation to production.
Translate product concepts and requirements into practical mechanical solutions.
Develop detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
Work on design iterations based on testing, feedback, and engineering requirements.
Ensure designs meet functional,



performance, quality, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
Evaluate design feasibility and identify potential engineering challenges at an early stage.
Prototyping & Validation
Conduct feasibility studies and support prototype development.
Coordinate with prototyping teams and vendors for timely development of prototypes.
Participate in hands-on testing and validation under real-world operating conditions.
Analyze test results and implement necessary design improvements.
Drive design iterations until the product meets defined performance and functional requirements.
Engineering & Manufacturing
Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Develop designs suitable for plastic, sheet metal, casting, machining, and other manufacturing processes.
Apply knowledge of DFM/DFA principles to ensure manufacturability and cost effectiveness.
