Location: Tamil Nadu / Patna, Bihar (Patna)

Travel Requirement: Approximately 15 days of travel per month

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced O&M; Technician – Solar to take care of the technical operation and maintenance of rooftop solar plants across multiple project locations.
The technician will be responsible for ensuring the solar plants are technically sound, operational, protected, and performing efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Take care of the technical operation and maintenance of rooftop solar plants.
Regularly inspect solar panels, inverters, cables, electrical panels, and other plant equipment.
Monitor plant performance and identify technical issues or abnormalities.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot basic electrical and solar plant issues and coordinate for major breakdowns.
Check inverter performance, generation, alarms, and equipment status.




Ensure proper functioning of electrical connections and protection systems.
Coordinate with the cleaning vendor available at each site and ensure timely module cleaning.
Coordinate with site representatives, vendors, and internal teams for smooth plant operations.
Maintain records of maintenance, breakdowns, generation, and site observations.
Prepare regular site visit reports and highlight technical concerns to the reporting manager.
Ensure compliance with electrical and safety procedures during site activities.

Site & Travel Responsibilities

The role will involve managing/visiting approximately 5–7 solar sites located across different locations in the assigned state.
Major project locations may include Tamil Nadu, Patna (Bihar), and other locations as per project requirements.
Approximately 15 days of travel per month may be required for site visits, inspections, troubleshooting, and coordination.
