Job Summary
Shriram General Insurance is seeking a skilled MySQL Developer to design, develop, manage, and optimize database solutions. The role involves creating and maintaining database structures, writing productive SQL queries, ensuring data integrity, and supporting applications through reliable and high-performance database systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain MySQL databases and database objects.
Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Design database schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships.
Monitor and optimize database performance and query execution.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and security.
Perform database backup, recovery, and maintenance activities.




Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with software developers and application teams for database integration.
Support database migration, upgrades, and deployment activities.
Maintain technical documentation for database structures and processes.
Implement database security and access control practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of MySQL database architecture and administration.
Proficiency in SQL query writing and performance optimization.
Experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and indexing.
Knowledge of database backup and recovery processes.
Familiarity with database performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
